Closing Docket, a technology company trying to speed up residential closings, launches their beta product on http://www.closingdocket.com.
Closing Docket is founded by attorneys, Craig Lawrence and Drew Jenkins, along with developers Justin Lawrence and Ken Veale. Drew Jenkins, a closing attorney, noticed that certain aspects of closings had not yet entered the 21st Century. Each party had their own system and could only update the other on the process through phone or email.
Closing Docket allows REALTORS, attorneys, buyers and sellers to all work together on a seamless process. It prevents the buyer from calling the agent who calls the closing attorney who calls the title company to see where everything is at. Now, one logins to see in real-time where the process is at.
Founder, Craig Lawrence, sees a nationwide opportunity. “There are around 5 million residential purchases per year. Almost all of those have some amount of communication lag between all of the parties. For each transaction, it is only natural to invite and include everyone in the transaction to the software.”
Early adopters are allowed an opportunity to sign for free and test the system at ClosingDocket.com. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
